Marylin Mae Allen

On April 9, 2021, Marylin Mae Allen of Odenton, MD, passed away at her family home in Odenton, MD.  She was 85. She loved crocheting, bird watching, caring for her cats and dogs, family gatherings, playing BINGO, watching the Ravens, watching Hallmark Movies, Babysitting her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Thaddeus Allen Jr.; devoted mother of Alan Allen (Kathleen), Dorothy Taylor (Elwood), Thaddeus Allen III (Sharon), Ruben Allen (Pamela), Wilfred Allen, Steven Allen (Terry), Craig Allen Sr. (Ann), Tammy Allen-Faust (David), and the late Steven Bowen; loving grandmother of Shawn Bowen, Michael Allen, Joy Vanier (Jason), Debi Cabello (David), Kurt Gray Sr., Mario Taylor Sr., Christopher H. Allen (Seth), Courtney Earp (Kevin), Joshua Allen (Carrie), Christopher M. Allen (Brandie), Kyle Allen, Bo Allen, Kayla Allen, and Samantha Roberts (Arthur “AJ”), Craig Allen, Jr. and Jeremiah Faust; caring great-grandmother of Kylah Allen, Mason Vanier, Ryleigh Vanier, Carter Vanier, Alicca Stallings, Analyse Cabello, David Cabello, Edwin Cabello, Austin Gray, Allison Gray, Mario Taylor, Jr., Kylie Rodriguez, Evelyn Earp, Claire Allen, Ethan Allen, Reese Allen, Spencer Allen, Arthur Roberts, and LilyAnn Roberts arriving soon; cherished sister of Lenita “June” Slavontinek (Thomas) and sister-in-law Linnea Packard and the late George Packard Jr., Robert Packard Sr., and John and Elva Izzo.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and many close friends. 

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. The interment will take place on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 am, Pleasant View Cemetery, Randolph, VT.
