Byron Prentice Fate, age 35, a long-time resident of Maryland, primarily in Odenton, departed this earth and entered into eternal rest on November 12, 2020. The son of Kim Y. Scott and Eddie G. Fate, Byron was born on March 31, 1985 in Heidelberg, Germany.
Byron received his education in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools and graduated from Arundel Senior High Schools, Gambrills, Maryland. For over 13 years, he was employed with Planet Fitness as a General Manager. In addition to managing several Planet Fitness Clubs, he also was employed as the manager for several security agencies and his recent employment was with Safeway as a Courtesy Clerk.
Byron’s hobbies included gaming, motorcycles, and frequenting the gun ranges. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family. However, he most enjoyed his relationship with his younger brother, Bryant, who was also his best friend.
Byron was preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita Morrison; and step-father, Byron P. Scott.
Byron is survived by his wife, Christy Fate; step-son, Markel Tennon; loving mother, Kim Y. Scott; father, Eddie G. Fate; devoted brother, Bryant P. Scott; grandfather, Marvin P. Morrison; uncles, Michael Morrison and Dave Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
