Betty Jean Wade

Betty Jean Wade peacefully transitioned from earthly labor to heavenly reward on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 after a short period of hospice care. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Earl, daughters Beverly Joy Wade Battle (Michael), Gail Wade and Earline Wade, son and “baby” Earl II (Dawn), grandsons Shawn Battle, SSGT Stewart Wade, U.S. Army, Michael Wade (Priscilla), SPC E4 Mackenzie Battle, U.S. Army (Chadonya), granddaughter Victoria Battle, great-grand daughters Milania Chu Battle, Penny Wade, great-grandson Alexander Battle, sister Hattie “Ann” Walker (Joe), brothers James “Sonny” Frasier Jr. (Teresa), Toy Ray Frasier Sr. (Shirley), sister-in-law Johnnie Brown and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Nichols-Bethel United Methodist Church, 1239 Murray Road, Odenton, Maryland on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:00AM. Due to COVID restrictions, parishioners will be required to follow the church’s face mask/covering and social distancing guidelines. A family internment will take place at Glen Haven Memorial Garden immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the scholarship fund of Continentals Societies, Inc. Anne Arundel County Chapter of which Earline and Betty Wade were Charter Members. This organization’s primary purpose is to foster, promote and develop the welfare of exceptional disadvantaged and underprivileged children. The Continentals Societies, Inc.
