On January 24, 2022, Aura Brown George went home to be with the Lord. Born in Panama, Aura met her husband of 30 years, the late Chester George, while he was stationed in Panama while serving in the U.S. Army. They traveled the world together, eventually settling in Odenton, Maryland in 1986.
Full of energy, Aura never stopped moving. She worked as a house cleaner for many years, but more recently she worked in cargo for Quantum Aviation. Aura enjoyed sharing a meal with family and friends, going to the casino, and dancing. She is survived by her daughter Mayuli George; her siblings Urania Mancilla Robles, Carlos Antonio Robles, Dixie Mancilla Robles, Alexis Mancilla Robles, Julio Mancilla Robles, Omor Mancilla Robles, and Geoboni Mancilla Robles; her grandsons Romel Edwards and Caesar Centeno. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents Herman and Julia Brown and her sister Dulcinia Mancilla Robles.
